Every work travels to its collector like an artefact from Mars: in a sealed protective container, built and finished by hand for that specific work.

CHERNAMARS sculptural works — polymers, building fragments, minerals, glass — do not survive ordinary packing. The sealed container holds its shape, protects from impact, moisture and dust, and turns receiving the work into a ritual of its own: the collector opens a capsule delivered from the Mars archive.
Inside
The work, secured in a fitted cradle · certificate of authenticity signed by the artist · archive record of the work: code, medium, story · unpacking and care instructions.
Timing
After payment the container is finished for the specific work and the documentation and packing are prepared — about 14 days before dispatch on average.
Without container
Works on paper and some flat works can travel without a container, in museum-grade packing, free of charge. For fragile and sculptural works the container is required. Any option can be discussed individually.
